Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide certified crane operators with the rental?
Yes, all of our crane rentals come with highly trained and NCCCO-certified operators. This ensures that every lift is performed safely, in compliance with industry regulations, and with maximum efficiency. Our operators have extensive experience handling complex lifts in various job site conditions, reducing the risk of accidents and improving overall job performance.
Can I rent a crane without an operator?
No, for safety and liability reasons, we do not offer crane rentals without operators. Cranes are complex machines that require specialized training and certifications to operate safely. By providing a trained operator with every rental, we ensure that your project runs smoothly, avoiding potential damage to property, injuries, or costly delays.
What are your minimum rental hours?
Our standard rental policy includes a four-hour minimum for Arizona jobs and an eight-hour minimum for California jobs. If your project requires overtime, weekend, or holiday work, additional charges may apply based on extended usage and operator hours. We recommend discussing your project details with our dispatch team to determine the most cost-effective rental plan.
What areas do you service?
We are based in Yuma, Arizona, but our crane rental services extend throughout the Southwest United States. We frequently handle jobs in Arizona, California, Nevada, and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether we can service your location, give us a call, and we’ll work to accommodate your needs.
What happens if I need to cancel my crane rental?
We understand that schedules can change, but please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your rental. If the cancellation occurs after the crane has already been dispatched, a two-hour minimum charge may apply, depending on the crane size and job location. If a crane has not been dispatched yet, we may be able to reschedule your rental without a penalty.
Do I need any special permits to rent a crane?
Permit requirements vary depending on your job site location and the type of lift being performed. Some municipalities and job sites require special oversize load permits, road closures, or other regulatory approvals. If permits are necessary, our team can guide you through the process or work with your project manager to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed before the lift.
